by Him?
By His love – reckless, selfless, and all-encompassing?
Did His mercy render you speechless?
Does His grace fill your heart with praise?
All that He is, all that He does?
Did He make you feel priceless,
Laying Godhood aside, His life for yours?
Did it shake your heart,
How He wept yet still bled and died,
For Kingdom glory, to make you holy?
Does it humble you,
All that mercy-soaked power at your disposal?
Are you giddy to die, gain heaven and eternity with Him?
Tell me, does it make you tremble,
To know that you have the King of Heaven, all for you?
Yes?
Okay then…
Is He blown away too,
By you and the life you lead?
Is your love for Him what it should be – reckless, selfless, and unconditional?
Does your service render Him speechless?
Your thoughts, are they grace-filled, pure, and worthy of praise?
Is He in awe of you,
All that you are, all that you do?
Do you make Him feel exalted,
By the way you lay everything down, your glory for His?
Or do you break His heart,
With your nonchalant disregard for His will?
Does Heaven weep and mourn over you,
As you blatantly trample on the blood that was shed to make you holy?
Tell me, are you puffed up and power-drunk?
Blind to the mercy that offers your next breath?
Do you even care to spend it with Him, talk less of eternity?
I guess what I’m trying to ask is…
We know that you have God,
But does God have you?
