See but do not see

Bride of Christ devotional
Theme: “See but do not see”
Text: 2 Kings 6:17 (NKJV) And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
Message:
In the scripture above, the enemy came to arrest Elisha, and his servant saw them first. He ran to Elisha to alert him, but instead of Elisha panicking, he prayed that his eyes were open. Which eyes were opened? It was the spiritual eyes because he saw the enemies with his naked eyes. Elisha did not panic because he could see with his spiritual eyes.

When you are spiritually blind, you may marry your enemy, give your secret to your killer, drive away your helper and embrace your destroyer, pick a wrong job, put your destiny under the control of a demonic leader, and run away from the part of a promotion. When you are spiritually blind, you may walk into destruction, cry when you ought to laugh and laugh when you ought to cry bitterly, serve in the wrong place, partner with a wrong team, go into a wrong business, and use your life to pursue a wrong purpose. Spiritual blindness has sent many people to untimely death, sentenced them to perpetual sorrow, and eternal perdition

You may see physically and not see spiritually. What exists is beyond what you see physically

Prayer: My Lord and my God, open my spiritual eyes. Please, show me who I am, show me the people surrounding me, show me the root of my problems, and the solution to my problems in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
