Luke 19:3-4 And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. (NKJV)

ZACCHAEUS was a tax collector who wanted to see Jesus. He had passion and genuine desire to meet with Jesus but there were limitations on his way. His stature was small and the people were many so he looked for a way to have his passion fulfilled. He ran intentionally to climb a tree in order to see Jesus. The passionate pursuit of this man to see Jesus made him to go the extra mile. He went beyond His limitations and looked for a way to meet with Jesus.
There is something that is noteworthy that every one must know and that is, no matter the limitations around you if you are passionate about meeting with Jesus there is always way out. When you want to meet Jesus you must be intentional and deliberate about going the extra mile to meet Him.
There are so many people who are trusting God for encounters but they are not passionate about it. If that encounter is going to be experiential then you will have to be deliberate about it. Spend time with His word and in prayer, wait in fasting earnestly and when He shows up He will know that someone was waiting on Him. The moment Jesus came he called Zacchaeus by name and then said he was going to abide in his house. When God sees your passion and pursuit of Him He will show up and bless you. Go after Him today and He will reveal Himself to you.
PRAYER: O LORD help me to pursue you passionately until I meet with you in Jesus name.
