Text:1 Samuel 5:2-4 (NKJV) 2 When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the temple of Dagon and set it by Dagon. 3 And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again. 4 And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the Lord. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only Dagon’s torso was left of it.
Message:
Tragedies, troubles, and trials are inevitable in the life of genuine Christians but victory is also certain. Beloved, if you are radically committed to God’s perfect will, then expect rage and attack from satan.
Don’t cry, mourn, grumble, be discouraged, or be fearful when satan seems to have an upper hand in your affairs, you will soon shout Praise God and Alleluia when the testimonies come.
In the scripture above, the ark of God was captured, and it must have brought sorrow to the hearts of the Israelites, but the end result was the destruction of Dagon and trouble for the people of Ashdod. If the ark was not captured and taken into captivity, how would the Philistines have experienced the hands of our God and suffered an untold loss of their god?
Beloved, stop crying for the current troubles from satan and his cohorts, rejoice and eagerly wait for testimonies
Prayers:
My belongings in the camp of the enemy, begin to cause innumerable and permanent damage in their camps and be released now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
