Hated, taunted, and excluded

Bride of Christ devotional.
Theme: Hated, taunted, and excluded

Text: Isaiah 66:5 (GW) 5 Listen to the word of the LORD, all who tremble at his word. Your relatives, who hate you and exclude you for my name’s sake, say, “Let the LORD show his glory; then we will see your joy.” But they will be put to shame.

Message:

Standing firm for God, His words, and His ways often provokes unnecessary mockery. hatred, and ostracizing by unbelievers and carnal-minded believers.

In the scripture above, such a treatment of saints is not new to God, He knows those who are trembling at His word and those the world is mistreating because of their faithfulness to God’s word. The unhealthy treatment may be from your spouse, relatives, friends, leaders, followers, etc. Faithful friend, rejoice, God appreciates your stand… He promised to put your mockers to shame, which implies that He will glorify Himself in your life and give you outstanding results…..

Prayer:

I receive the grace to obey God’s words, and follow His ways and principles. Oh lord, do great things in my life and with my life, that will cause my mockers to see your greatness and faithfulness in Jesus’ name.
