When you have come through the time of testing, turn to your companions and give them a fresh start.”
Message:
If some parents knew in advance the challenges of raising godly children, they would possibly have opted not to have children. Raising godly children in this generation is a real battle!!!!!
In the scripture above, Jesus spoke to the disciples about the request of satan to sift them like chaff and separate them from Him. What an audacity by satan! The character of Jesus Christ is impeccable, yet satan separated the disciples for a season, Peter denied Jesus Christ, and some ran away naked. *If satan attacked the disciples of Jesus Christ, he can attack your children no matter how godly you are….*
In addition to the character of Jesus Christ, He engaged the use of prayer to secure and restored the disciples and help them survive the onslaught of satan.
Beloved, in this generation that is overloaded with ungodly and persistent peer pressure, corroborated with the persistent power of social media, and the proliferation of false teachers and teachings; you need both character and prayer to raise godly children.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, help me to remain a godly role model for my children, and please baptize me with the spirit of prayer and supplication to stand in the gap for them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
