TEXT: Proverbs 6:6-11 (MSG) You lazy fool, look at an ant. Watch it closely; let it teach you a thing or two. Nobody has to tell it what to do. All summer it stores up food; at harvest it stockpiles provisions. So how long are you going to laze around doing nothing? How long before you get out of bed? A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back, take it easy—do you know what comes next? Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life, poverty your permanent houseguest!

PREACH
Planning is the roadmap to success. The ant is an example not only because it works so hard, but also because it plans ahead. It takes thought in summer that there will be need in winter, and this forethought provides its needs in winter.
Many Christians want to make it in life, but don’t know how. With a new year in view, a study of the behavior of ants gives us a blueprint of how to plan for good success. It shows that they possess vision, goal setting, planning, decisiveness and proactive tendencies and capabilities. These are some of the attributes God would want us to consider as we prepare for the coming New Year. Plan with God for your spiritual necessities ( Salvation, Sanctification, Spirit baptism and Spiritual blessings) and physical necessities (Food, Sound Health, Shelter, Clothing, Education and Finance)
