TOPIC: BRETHREN, PRAY FOR US
TEXT: 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2 (GNT) Finally, our friends, pray for us that the Lord’s message may continue to spread rapidly and be received with honor, just as it was among you. Pray also that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message.

PREACH
Satan will challenge anyone making a real difference for God. Prayer is a weapon in all believers’ amour as we intercede for others who join the fight against Satan. Our brother requested prayer for himself and his companions as they travelled to spread God’s message. Pray for pastors, teachers, missionaries and others who are spreading the gospel that the Lord will strengthen and protect them from wicked and evil people.
Christ has the power to do whatever we ask, and we must have confidence, belief, or faith in His ability to do what we are asking Him to do according to His will. Even though we are praying to a very powerful Being who could do more than we even ask, the faithful person also responds by being obedient.

PRAYER
O Lord our God help the brethren and their households as they proclaim the good news about Jesus Christ and protect them from wicked and evil people. In Jesus name!

PONDER
Take the threat of spiritual attack seriously and always pray for strength and help from God.

PRACTICAL
Make it practical this week by praying for other brethren.
