SINCERITY is one of the virtues that we must jealously guard in every aspect of our lives as believers. Our text this morning highlights the sincere admittance and cry of a father who was in desperate need of assistance for his son. When Jesus told him that faith is the medium of securing help from God whatever the situation is; he quickly admitted that he has it. He did not only stop there, he went on to say peradventure the measure that is needed is not equivalent to what he has brought, he cried for help.

This man’s attitude is an exemplary heart posture that we must have in supplication. As we bring our request to God we must know that it is through his help that we are going to receive answer. By coming to Jesus with his son reveals that he has faith already but he cried for an upgrade.

What is it that you have been supplicating about? What is request are you yet to receive? Maybe you need this kind of sincerity in your presentation. Were you admit that I have done my part but Lord Jesus help me, upgrade my faith and grant me my request. As we come to the Lord let’s cry with sincerity of heart and he will hearken to us as he did for this man and delivered his son.

PRAYER: O LORD every limitation of faith in my life I ask for an upgrade today. Lord Jesus help my unbelief in Jesus name.
