Psalm 27:13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. (NKJV)

IN PSALM 27 David demonstrated his confidence in God even in the face of adversity. He narrated that because the Lord was with him he would not fear anyone. He went through a terrible time and one of the things that preserved him was his faith in God that despite all the challenges he will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.
David was heading into a disturbing moment but what helped him was that he had faith in the omnipotence of God that he will see His goodness in the land of the living. He could have fainted or lost heart but he chose to believe? What do you believe in challenging moments? When challenges comes our way there are times our minds cannot fully comprehend what to do. We know by ourselves we cannot sail through except something supernatural happens. Faith in God has the potential to see us through.
David believed that he will see God’s gracious character at work and therefore he will experience His goodness in the land of the living. Believe in the Lord and you will see that through your expression of faith you can be sustained. Remember what you believe gives a summary of your life. Choose to believe today, for it is by faith that you stand. (2 Corinthians 1:24).
PRAYER: O LORD help me to trust you completely so that I will experience your goodness in my life in Jesus name
