TOPIC: MY REDEEMER LIVES
TEXT:Job 19:25 “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and that he will stand upon the earth at last.
PREACH
During the last world war, an American mother received a very special letter. It was written in her son’s familiar handwriting under the heading “Somewhere in the South Pacific”
Dear Mom,
It is comparatively quiet where I am today, but no one knows how long it will be. If this letter reaches you, it will mean that I can’t write another one, for I ‘m putting this away with many things, and asking that it be sent to you. I just want to say, Mom, don’t grieve for me. I know that my Redeemer lives. My trust is in Him who loved me, and gave Himself for me. And because He lives, I too shall live. Don’t ever say of me, He’s gone. Say, He lives! Because, Mom, when you read this letter, I shall be very much alive, and waiting for you in Christ’s presence.

The letter was read through blinding tears. But in the darkest hour of a mother’s life, she was at last able to say. “This really is a good news. He lives, he is waiting in Christ’s presence”.
Beloved, you might be in a desperate condition for this life; I want you to know that we have a living and powerful Redeemer. This Redeemer of sinners from the yoke of Satan and the condemnation of sin, is our Redeemer (Jesus Christ). He is the only one through whom salvation is expected.
The aforementioned scripture is a testament to the hope we have in God as our Redeemer. It states the reality and eternity of God. Do you have a Redeemer? As for me, I know – I am certain, that my Redeemer lives.
PRAYER
O Lord my God-my Redeemer! I have unwavering confidence in You, be my surety and vindicate me wherever my name is mentioned.
PONDER
Because my Redeemer lives I can face tomorrow and life is worth a living just because my Redeemer lives.
PRACTICAL
Make it practical this week by ensuring that Jesus is your Redeemer.
