Joshua 18:3 Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: “How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers has given you? (NKJV)
ISRAEL had crossed the Jordan and some tribes have already received their allotment of the land. But there remained about seven tribes who had not received their inheritance of the land the Lord promised them. So Joshua is calling on them to make sure that they enter into that which God has given to them. Even though God through His power and word has given them the land there were still things they were expected to do to possess the land. Thank they needed to confront the Canaanites and other occupants of the land. They should drive them out to enter into their inheritance. The same applies to the believer today under the new covenant. He should consecrate himself to God, pray and obediently do the will of God. By so doing you will enter into your inheritance. Don’t rest on your oars. Don’t think that you have arrived there is still more space to possess. No matter what you have experienced in the kingdom, there is still more.
PRAYER O LORD empower me with all I need so that I will enter into my inheritance in Jesus name.
