2 Corinthians 12:8-9 – For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee,……(KJV)

PAUL the apostle had an experience of having a thorn in his flesh. His prayer and earnest desire to God was the complete removal of this thorn. He was precise and persistent in his request. But God in His wisdom chose to supply sufficient grace to him so that he can be able to keep up with it.
Many a times when we pray we want things to go our own way but one assurance that we must always have as we relate with God is that He has our best interest at heart. He knows what we need even before we ask Him. He knows that in this case for Paul removing the thorn will not help, so in His infinite wisdom He chose to supply grace.
Brethren, as we pray let’s know that God has our best interest at heart. He knows what you need and what will solve your present predicament. Be open minded, listen and yield to the solution He brings. It is in your best interest and it is for your own good.
PRAYER: O LORD as I make my requests known to you through prayer answer me according to your purpose and plans in Jesus name.
