Matthew 14.31-32 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. (NKJV)

RESTORATION is process of getting things or people back to their original state. This is crucial for things that are desperately needed by an individual. Peter was asked by Jesus to come over to him as he walked on water from our text. It was as he came that he shifted his focus from Christ to the storm. The storm being boisterous affected his faith and he started to sink. When he cried to Jesus, He rebuked him for his doubt and then took him and they walked together back to the boat on water. It means that though he faltered during the course of the journey when he was rescued by Jesus He was able to walk on water again.
Brethren, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is able to restore you again. You only need to be sincere to cry for help as Peter did and you will definitely be restored. Have you been abused before and you think that there is no hope? Are you in trouble today because your deliberate disobedience? Repent and come again. Remember those who come to Him he shall in no wise cast out.
In this restoration process, cry to God for mercy and forgive yourself for not doing what is right. Just as Peter walked with Christ back to the ship you too can do the extraordinary that God has called you to do if only you can come. It doesn’t matter how far you have gone come Christ is able to restore you.
PRAYER: O LORD JESUS I know I have moved away from your agenda but I cry today for complete restoration in every area of my life in Jesus name.
