PROPER USE OF TALENT

TEXT: Luke 19:13 (NLT) Before he left, he called together ten servants and gave them ten pounds of silver to invest for him while he was gone.

PREACH
We have been given excellent resources (talents) to build and expand God’s kingdom. God expects us to use these talents so that they multiply and the kingdom of God grows. He asks each of us to account for what we do with His gifts.
Those who are talented often find it easier to trust in themselves than in God who gave them their gifts. Remember to thank God for what you are and have.
All of us have special skills. God wants to fill us with His Spirit so that we will use our talents for His glory. Think about your special talents and abilities and the ways you could use them for God’s work in the world. A God-given talent must be used or it will diminish.

PRAYER
O Lord my God help me to use the talent(s) you have given me for Your glory.

While awaiting the second coming of Christ, we must do Christ’s work.

Make it practical this week by using your talent(s) for the glory of God.
