EVALUATION is an appraisal of the value of something and it is essential in all of our endeavors. We see this being modeled by God the Creator Himself. For every day’s work he will assess it and see that it was good. Our text gives the overall assessment of the whole project of creation and God saw that it was very good.
If we are going to make progress in life then the need for diligent and honest evaluation of our lives under God in all areas is paramount. When we do this we applaud ourselves for areas where we have made gains and then we try to step up in areas where we seem to be falling short.
Evaluation helps us to see our strengths, recognize our weaknesses take advantage of the opportunities around our lives and strategize in order to deal the things that threatens our productivity. God evaluated his own work. We should also evaluate our lives and that which we do so that we can be more productive.
PRAYER: O LORD help me to honestly evaluate my life and help me to improve on the areas that I have not being doing well in Jesus name.
