MANY TIMES when believers face problems and challenges in any area of their lives they ascribe it to sin or or the absence of the presence of God. Our text nullifies this assertion. Jesus was in the boat crossing with the disciples to the other side yet the storm came.
Beloved, are you going through storms now in your life? In family, with friends and even foes? You must not hasten to conclude that Jesus is not with you. In times of challenges check your relationship with the Lord and make it right if need be and after doing that bring your case to Jesus. The disciples because they know Jesus was sleeping they woke him up and cried for help. He arose and rebuked storm and it was calm. Peace returned.
When the storm comes our source of assurance is that the Lord is with us and we will overcome. Remember because He is with you, you will smile at the storm.
PRAYER: O LORD deliver me from every storm in my life in Jesus name.
