Text: Mark 4:37 (MSG) 37 A huge storm came up. Waves poured into the boat, threatening to sink it.
Message:
Beloved, a storm is described as a violent disturbance of the weather with high winds and rain, snow, hail, and/or thunder and lightning.
Storms are usually unexpected. They just happen. It is the same with our lives. When storms of life hit us, they come with characteristics such as uncertainty, apprehension, anxiety, fear, sleeplessness, weight loss, anger, loneliness, etc. One minute all is okay with and around us, the next minute it is darkness, pain, and turmoil.
“But remember, as natural storms do not rage forever, so also the troubles, challenges, crises, pains, etc. of life do not last forever either.”
Prayer: Dear heavenly, still the storms of my life and give me great testimonies in Jesus’ name.
