2 Corinthians 5:16 So we have stopped evaluating others by what the world thinks about them. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, as though he were merely a human being. How differently I think about him now! (NLT)

PERSPECTIVE is a particular attitude towards or way of regarding something. Your perspective of anything or anyone will largely determine your attitude or response to that thing or individual. Paul in this text made a resolution not to evaluate Christ from a human point of view again. It means at a particular point in his life his perspective about Christ was wrong. In the church today many people are evaluating others by what the world thinks.
When your perspective about Christ is what the world thinks then you will be wrong. The world will never give a proper perspective about the cross. So Paul said I use to use carnal means to evaluate Christ before but now I use a different means.
Consequently, if you are going to get the correct perspective of anything you must see it through the lens of Christ and the Holy Scriptures. When your line of thought is not consistent with the word of God and cannot be traced back to the Holy Spirit then it will be wrong. Allow the word of God and the Holy Spirit be the basis of your evaluations and conclusions.
*PRAYER:* O LORD help me to see things from your perspective everytime in Jesus name.
